Thanks! I was toying with visiting this weekend, but it looks like snow, so maybe next year (my season's winding down)... Here's another from Lindy Point, WV:

Correct, sunrise. The other is from the rock by the South Prong/Hidden passage overlook, also sunrise. I guess I'm just an early riser!

Even if my hiking season is (mostly) done for the year I can still take photos locally. Here are two of Gotham City* from this morning:

Waiting for sunrise

Well since it's cold day outside I figured I have to post a throwback picture from in the ADK's. Looking up at the summit of Mount Marcy NY on a sunny February day

^ I like Swallow Falls State Park. Nice shots! Yesterday evening I was thinking back over my 2014 trips and realized that I didn't do a really spectacular trip, though I did have one nice one in Fall. So, I went back a year, to my 2013 Karakorams trip, and processed a couple of shots, basically to relive old glories... Trango Towers (20,270ft) Masherbrum (25,659ft)

Ok, those are amazing! Do you work for NatGeo? Thanks! I tried to use the info you provided for the waterfalls. I got a little Ultrapod II and a polarizing filter which made a world of difference. Now, how do you get the colors so brilliant?
