I've been a bit lazy about posting things. At the beginning of March, I had to go to Boulder, Colorado for work. Since I have some family and a lot of friends out there, I went out a little early and stayed through the weekend after the work trip. My husband joined me for the last weekend of the trip. I wound up getting to snowshoe in Rocky Mountain National Park twice - once with a co-worker and once with my husband. It was _spectacular...just amazing. We had a little better weather on the first outing, but it was pretty good on the second as well. I wound up doing the same hike both times because I was so impressed with it the first time that I wanted to show it to my husband. We hiked to Emerald Lake from the Bear Lake trailhead. As many times as I've been to Colorado, this is actually the first time I've been to RMNP. We had so much fun. Now all I want to do is go back and explore more! Looking towards Emerald Lake from Nymph Lake on the first hike. Looking down on Emerald Lake Emerald Lake This was from my second hike up there. The weather wasn't quite as clear. This is from Dream lake looking up the valley towards Emerald Lake. Michael and I made it quite a bit higher than my coworker and I did. This is above Emerald Lake. Emerald Lake from our turnaround

Good to see somebody else posting in this section. Especially with a snowshoe hike as sweet as this.
