Every year, around this time, I go back over the past 12 months and put together a calendar from photos taken within this time frame. Here's my 2016 Calendar: January February March April May June July August September October November December If any of you also do the same, it would be fun to see these...

Where did you take the October picture from?

Really? I've been out there and don't recall that much angular separation from the wall of NFM.

The 'smokestack' of Chimney Top has a fissure down the middle. The true 'top' is beyond my risk threshold to climb, but the part of the stack closest to the ridge can be accessed with a minimal bit of scrambling. There is a USGS benchmark up there too. The "October" photo was taken from right beside the tree in the top right of this photo:

christopherrobin, thanks a lot for the compliment. However, don't hesitate to post your version if you have it. I for one would love to see as many others as I can. It's such a cool way to document one's past year.

^ Nice. I particularly like the 5th photo. Where was that taken?

Spruce Knob sunset. Pic 6 was sunrise from a different spot on Spruce Knob, a week apart.
