I understand that the conversion of the AFT from orange to yellow is complete. The last time I was on the Quehanna Tr I noticed it was being converted as well. Has that task been completed?
Are there any other long distance trails that are slated to make this conversion? Are they in the process? If so when will they be completed.
I think the trail guys and DCNR are doing it just to make me have to redo the maps on my website.
OK - some of you PA guys have to have the poop on this. Give it up!

Last year I was on the east half of the AFT over the 4th of July and on the northeast part of the QT over Memorial day. Looking back at my pictures I saw only yellow blazes on the AFT but all orange blazes on the QT.

Two years ago the western part was yellow blazed and I've received info that at least part of the east was also yellow.

Officially designated state forest hiking trails, like the QT, MST, CKT, etc., are orange. AFT is yellow because it does not have that designation.

Orange paint sometimes fades to yellowish and sometimes fades to reddish. I didn't get a more particular answer when I forwarded this question earlier, though.
