I recently went on a hike to Somer Brook Falls and the High Knob Trail in SGL 57. The trail has been cleared and is an easy hike. It is pretty easy to follow, for the most part, and is blazed yellow with some white blazes. This is a beautiful place with a 75-100 foot falls, cliffs, caves, boulders and overhangs, and deep spruce forests. The falls and cliffs are just off the trail. There was also a lot of hemlock, which was still healthy, thick blueberry bushes, and a few meadows. Everyone enjoyed the hike. Another gem in SGL 57. Enjoy.
