Took this pic on my place on Cave Mountain this summer. It grows wild all over up there. I've never seen it before, but I guess it's common on the drier side of the mountains.

That's called Prickly Pear. Common in shale barren areas.

Yeah, it's prickly pear. Until this year, I never spent any time over in the area where I'm at now other than North Fork Mountain and I never saw it up there either. It doesn't exist in the Mon West of there as far as I know.
