endlessmountains.wordpress.com/2023/05/20/hike-the-hyner-view-huff-run-loop/This was about a five mile loop that included a climb up to Hyner View, my first time reaching the view that way. It was rewarding with many great vistas along the way. There were meadows and glades with wildflowers. The descent of Huff Run was hiking bliss along a beautifully built trail with many small falls and cascades. This was an excellent hike.

I had the pleasure of communicating a bit with Ted Ligenza of the Sproul SF when I was looking for routes for the PA Wilds Trail. It seems the Ligenza Trail may be in his (or his family's) honor?
On another note, last winter I walked from Hyner Run to Hyner View in the snow. It was pretty great, but the crusted snow on the slopes facing north made it tricky. It's too bad I didn't realize these other trails existed, as the south facing slope was nice and clear.

I believe the trail is named after Ted. It's a nice hike. I've been exploring the trail system surrounding Hyner View and I've been impressed by the quality of the hiking.
