I went on a hike after work last week to see the fine autumn views from Kellogg Mtn in SGL 36, south of Towanda. The views were superb, showing the incredible colors as shadows filled the valley and crept up the distant mountain. The top of the mountain also had great colors with the red blueberry meadows. I could see for 20-30 miles. Hard to believe this view isn't more famous.

Want to hike Kellogg Mtn? It is easy, particularly now since the road to the top of the mountain is now open for hunting season. This is my trip report from earlier this year with GPS coordinates.
