Saturday started at Tucquan Glen Nature Preserve and then took the Conestoga Trail to the Pinnacle Overlook. Was going to do Kelly's Run Trail but after talking to the park maintenance guy I went to Susquehannock Stae park instead. Tucquan is a beautiful hike down the stream to the river.
Multiple ways to get there, with nice crossings
With lots of interesting rocks
and pools
To the railroad bridge and then the river
The Conestoga was a really nice, well maintained trail with several PUDS until the big up to Pinnacle
The overlook was amazing
Then I went to Susquehannock State Park, a really nice park that reminded me of Patapsco around me. It had a picnic area, nice trails in the woods and a couple nice overlooks. A great way to spend a nice Saturday!
