My job is somewhat seasonal, and I'm (already) looking forward to taking a week or so for a long backpacking look in late May/early June. While I know PA has a wealth of trails like this I've already hit most of them, I've never really explored south too much.
My dream trail would be a >70ish mile (up to 200) loop, since there's a chance I'll be solo and will have trouble shuttling. I know the AT exists, but am hoping for something less busy and linear. Searching online has turned up relatively little though. I have found the Massanutten Trail, which is an option, though there's surprisingly little info available. Another possibility is making a loop out of the Allegheny Trail and the Laurel Fork Trail, which could be lengthened with a side trip up to Otter Creek, but that's still on the short side. Anyone have opinions on these trails, or suggestions for anything else worth looking into?

I hiked the Massanutten Mountain Trail over three days a few years back. It's a great trail, quite rugged and remote. The only people I saw the entire time were at the overlook at the very Northern section. I used the PATC map and a guide I found online at the time. Unfortunately I can't find the link but I do have it as a Word doc. I'll try to send it to you as a PM.
