I often use nearby traffic cams, generally in winter to judge snow conditions. Usually on 511 sites, like PA, VA, and WV. MD has Chart. I can see, for example, Great North Mountain, Green Ridge area, Sideling Hill in two states...

There's a cam on the Honi-Honi bar in Deep Creek. You can pan it. I use it in winter to see what the winter conditions are before driving to my place. I don't have a direct link but you can get to it from their web page.

Pendleton County has added couple of new cams on Hunting Ground Mountain. (Between Spruce Knob and 28)
One points towards Spruce Knob and the Other towards Snowy Mountain.

I miss the Dolly Sods webcam since the FS took it down a couple weeks ago. Always a good reference for what was going on up there.

hikeer,
Just checking this thread again and wanted to let you (and others) know that the Dolly Sods webcam is back up. Link in my first post.
