Over the past two months I've been in the hospital 3X for A Fib attacks and somewhere in between managed to have a total hip replacement. I've been off of the PC for quite a while as you might imagine.I am pleasantly surprised at the continued use of the forum especially in light of the creation of an expanded parallel version operated by a magazine. It will probably be a bit longer before I am able to hit the trails again as I think I'm heading towards a pace maker but for now I am getting a lot of satisfaction from reading your TRs and looking at your photos. It's like exploring the wilderness virtually through your eyes. Please keep them coming.
For those who are keeping count I'd like to point out that we now have over 100 members who have posted over 2000 times. Not too shabby for a forum created 1.25 years ago.

Drat, that's unfortunate. Sending good vibes your way for 2016! Hopefully, we can all keep contributing and making your life a bit less miserable, until you can get back out there.

Mike, thanks for the update. You've really been thru the mill! My best wishes for getting thru this challenging time. Tomorrow we are continuing your tradition of having a hike on New Year's Day. It should be a nice little group headed out to the Frederick area to do the Clifford Hollow Loop.

Tom Thwaites hiked for many years with a pacemaker. He even had it tested for chain saw compatibility.
