The road up to flagpole knob,,,what is this from?

 
Took the wife up to Reddish Knob today and went back as far as her car would go on the road back to flagpole, then got out and walked. Should have taken my truck, but going up flagpole was kind of a last minute whim.

Anyway.. there's some kind of remnants of a retaining wall and some steps back there. They really don't go anywhere though. I walked up above them to the top.
