Hey Folks!
I am sorry to say, that I've lost some stuff on the trail :/ With the rain pouring down my head was on the "let's get home mission" rather than "let me take my time" space.
I think I lost my boot On the South Prong TR near one of the camp spots, but before you hit FR70.
It was either there or before the massive uphill of Boars Nest TR.
Not only is my magical boot missing (was so looking forward to dry boots!), but I also hung my dog harnesses on a tree at the Camp site at Tee Pee Trail.
I am not wallowing in my loss (though my feet slightly disagree) but I mostly apologize for being so careless, and IF you find said items.... I would be most appreciative if you could contact me!
Much love & thanks! -ladyowl

Found a pair of socks laying at the beaver dam trailhead this morning. I was just taking the wife for a drive up there today, no hiking.

OK, I used your post as a good excuse to slip out this evening for a hike! Wasn't sure from your post exactly where you camped, but I hiked South Prong from FR19 out to FR 70 - checked the two campsites that are close to the Hidden Passage just before trail comes out on FR 70, hiked out FR 70 and then drove down to Boars Nest, hiked up to where the trail intersects the old RR grade at base of the steep portion, then out the RR grade to intersect South Prong at the creek. Checked the campsite close to the creek there, but sorry to report that I saw no sign of said boot anywhere. Could have been dragged off by an animal or perhaps picked up by another hiker.
