Figured I'd put it in here since it's not really a hiking question.
Anyway, I haven't been across it for at least 15 years. Went across it one fall when we were looking for places to bow hunt. Might have washed out and turned into a big hole now for all I know.

A guy I work with was across it this summer. He said it wasn't too bad.

Thanks! This is probably the only place on the net where I could ask that question and have anyone even know what I was talking about.

I know a guy who was across it several years ago in some kind of compact car. He said the car started to float and it was hairy. I've also heard that the Rt 72 side has kind of wallowed out and is a big hole. I suspect summer wouldn't be too bad since the water is usually lower. Of course there is the "other ford" on Dry Fork. :-)

I know where abouts your talking, but that river can change from week to week to be honest.
