Three weeks ago we got a scare in our house when one of my kids was identified as a close contact for a COVID-positive person. All of us had at least one symptom of a mild sore throat/cough/headache, but thankfully these cleared in 2-3 days and testing for all came up negative. We'd had something, but not COVID-19. For my part, I felt more fatigued than usual after exercising, so I decided to not push myself for the next few weeks, just in case. Hence, instead of doing something more extensive, I decided to test my fitness out at ole tried and trusted, Coopers Rock State Park. I did a 10.5mi, 2000ft elevation gain hike yesterday, with no after effects, so I'm feeling like I'm back to normal. On Raven Rock (selfie).
