I see a lot of PA guys here, so I am looking for advice. I want to do an overnight or 3 day loop trip that would be good for seeing elk. Any ideas?

You can try Quehanna Wilderness. I saw some Elk sign around Parker dam state park, but you're more likely to see them around Benezette.

Quehnna is going to be your place. The Northeast loop, which is around 30 miles, or the entire east loop at 45 miles would be the best bets. I've never seen any elk while hiking in the Quehnna Wild Area although I've seen sign. I managed to spook a large bull on the Elk Trail near Hicks Run last winter though.

Elk Trail or Quehanna Wild Area. Ive seen them in the wild area, particularly in the northern half. I've seen them near Big Spring Draft, and others have seen them above Laurel Draft along the Quehanna Trail.
